Realme is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, based in Shenzhen. Realme was established in 2018 by Sky Li, who was vice-president of Oppo Electronics previously. Company is majorly into smartphone manufacturing. However, it sells bags, earphones etc. as well. Realme was a sub-brand of Oppo electronics until it got separated in 2018. Later, it became its own brand under BBK electronics. November 2018, the company introduced its new logo. In May 2019, Realme holds its first conference in Beijing China to officially enter the Chinese market by launching Realme X, Realme X Lite and Realme X Master Edition. Realme has become a known brand in almost no time in India by selling 1 million mobile phones within 3 days during Diwali. Realme pursued in the markets of more than 18 countries including India, China, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. by 2019. Realme is focused on launching budget-friendly smartphones offering powerful performance, stylish design. The company has won various awards such as - The best entry-level smartphone of the year- Metrotvnews, Editor’s choice 2018, India and much more. Realme launched Realme 1 exclusively to the Indian market in May 2018 on Amazon India.
