A report by the World Meteorological Organization says that extreme weather events have led to over 2 million deaths and over $4 trillions in economic losses over 50 years. More than 90% of the deaths have taken place in developing countries. Asia and Africa are the regions most affected by extreme weather like Cyclones, Floods and Drought.
